Andreas Michael: ”I love breaking records”

All Allstars fighters did well at UFC Stockholm 2013, how does it feel today?

Its feels amazing to accomplish something that has never been done before in Sweden. I love breaking records. Before it was hard enough for one fighter to win in the UFC, now all of my fighters on the card won, all three of them. It is amazing.

I was so happy and proud of Reza, Tor, Papy and even Alex as well for taking all the shit and drama that came with the situation he was in. Our camp took a big blow when the doctor cancelled the main event. But you just got to roll with the punches and keep pushing forward.

Every other champion or fighter has cancelled a show or pulled out, were only human and we can only do so much. This time it was our turn to have bad luck. But if the doctors stop us from fighting because of a health risk then we must listen to them. They are the medical experts not us. But its a shame we put in so much time and effort, it was a hard time for Alex and I am happy that everyone else stayed focused and won.

Alex like the champ he is, and all my team is, we pulled through it and made a negative into a positive by winning All our other fights. Alex helped by coaching. Amazing fights from amazing people, we are a family and we are all friends.

Papys fight was a little sloppy but I wanted him to go three rounds and get his confidence up, that he could do it. He will grow from it and change weight class now so he has more stamina. A much needed win for Papy. Proud of Mr Makambo!

Tor was a killer, ice cold and calculated, he executed the plan to the fullest and was amazing he did absolutely everything that was asked from him and more. Tor has trained with us now for about 18 months we have been to a couple of camps together. I think he has grown a lot and the fight in TUF is by far no reflection of his talent. He is a gentleman and a great fighter with a good heart.

Reza showed heart, determination and will. He had a tough opponent and destroyed him. He was the underdog of the fight but showed that he is a force to be reckoned with. What a fight. The fans loved it, and I loved it. He recovered and came back to destroy his opponent. Great fighter!

Feels amazing that Allstars, our system, our method, our schedule works, everything works and is getting us so much success. I thank you all for believing in us and helping us with everything. Allstars is only 3 months old and already wrote history! One little club from Sweden dominates in the UFC event with all wins from its fighters, amazing.

Did any win stick out more then the other? In that case which one?

All the wins felt great, none was more important than the other. All my fighters are important and all the coaches are important as well. No one person is more important than anyone else and every fight is important. For me my goal is to get 100% wins all the time or close to it. When it matters we always deliver and that’s what counts at the end of the day.

After watching Mousasi, I respect him. He has skills and I heard he is going down to middleweight, I agree on his decision cause Alex would have destroyed him. I am not being over confident now I am just stating a fact. Alex would have won that fight easy.

When everyone won I felt satisfied. I am a person that when the job is done I silently retreat in the background. Its their moment and I am proud of them.

Did every fighter follow the game plan?

Everyone did great and I am happy with everyone doing there best at that day. Everyone was amazing and I hope my fighters gave Sweden a great show, for the fans. We have things we have to get better at but apart from that we did great and we will fix all the mistakes in the Allstars workshop at Hagagatan 31, www.allstarsgym.se!

What is next for the winners?

We don’t know what the UFC has in store for us so we are just waiting to see what will happen. Hope that Alex gets a meaningful fight and not someone that has no name. We are trying to take steps forward and make his name grow so hopefully Alex gets a meaningful fight, Jones I hope.

We will wait and see when Alex will get his title shot. No one else will beat Jones but Alex. Absolutely no one. Not Machida or anyone else. That is the only worth while match left out there for Jones in the division, everything else is just a pay day cause they don’t even come close to beating him. Alex will!

Jones destroyed Machida, why should they fight again? It was not even close once Jones figured Machida out. What will Machida do this time? What can he do that can change the outcome of this fight? Nothing. He might dance around and go the distance next time but he will not win, the difference in skill is to high.

Same with Chael Sonnen. He is a great fighter and a great person but its just a different skill level for Chael, Chael had a hard time against Bisping!

I don’t like talking trash and trashing other fighters, I am just saying what the logical outcome will be. What I am saying is what is logical. Chael has 5-3 in middleweight, Jones is 12-0 (all stoppages I think) in light heavyweight. If Machida or Chael find some underdog super power which happens in sports, those rare occasions, then that’s another thing. But what I am pointing out now is that Jones like Alex, he destroys everyone that steps in the cage with them, there in a different league.

Thats why, if we count all the factors and past results of everyone in light heavyweight, the best opponent for Jones to fight with the highest risk for Jones to loose, is Alex! Because they both dominate everyone they fight, their opponents don’t even come close to beating them.

I don’t know who we will fight next, but the UFC takes care of all the fighters and I am sure they have great things in store for us, for Tor, Reza, Papy and Alex. We are just happy to be a part of the greatest events on the planet. Look forward to the next opponents.

The UFC is an amazing organisation and its tough to stay in it because they have the highest quality, so we are proud to be a part of it. Thank you everyone in the UFC for the amazing work you do with all your shows.

What are the plans right now?

The plan for Allstars fighters 2013 is to get them all to win. We create winners. We as in all the team that is involved in the success. Everyone from Allstars has developed. We compete in everything. Our most recent was Allstyle open (which was a great event great organisation, great people there) where we won four gold and one silver, great fun.

I am so proud of these guys and girls of the hard work they put in daily and I might not say it so often but I feel it and show it by being by there side from 7 in the morning to 22 in the night, EVERYDAY. Allstars has a system and this system works. We have the best coaches in my eyes, without these guys nothing is possible. This is my team of coaches which I want to praise and mention and say thank you for everything. You are the cause for all the success all of you. Without you guys nothing would be possible.

Alan, Bruno, Jocke, Max, Jesper, Robson, Putte, Alex, Magnus, Nico, Jay, Odd. Thank you! I would also like to thank Jimmy Lidberg, Adilet, Robert Whiteford, Boris the fitness master, Marcus Vääntinen, Astivan, Babacar, Abbe Joof, Adam, David the master healer. All the pro teams and allstars for pitching in and helping your team. Your all amazing.

Thanks to these group of guys and the fantastic five, without them this would not be possible. Without this team I am nothing and I thank god everyday that I have such people by my side. You guys are amazing! Thank you Team Alliance San Diego for your support and help, you are our brothers.
