Alistair Overeem har inte varit tyst i sin kamp om en titelmatch, detta är något som inte har gått Junior dos Santos förbi. I en intervju berättar dos Santos att han likställer Overeem med Chael Sonnen, inte den största utmaningen för honom men duktig på att prata:
Så här säger Junior:
That is Chael Sonnen school. People want to get a chance at the title just saying things. I know this guy is tough, but I don’t think he is the biggest challenge inside the UFC. If he thinks he’s better than me, when I fight him and he feels the power of my hand, he’s gonna change his mind. We’re gonna have the chance to be fighting each other and that’s gonna be good. Especially for me. I wanna beat this guy one day.
På tapeten för dos Santos är den kommande matchen mot Cain Velasquez, som förväntas gå av stapeln den 29 december på UFC 155.
