Man har den senaste tiden börjat ta till hårdare straff för de fighters som som dopar sig, men enligt Michael Bisping är straffen inte tillräckligt hårda och anser att man ska få livstids avstängning om man blir ertappad med att använda steroider.
Det här berättade han, via ”FOX Sports”:
I’ve fought many guys over the years that have used performance-enhancing drugs, so obviously I have a very dim view of that. I’ve always been a hardworking, honest-working guy; the only thing I take are protein shakes and that’s it. Blood, sweat and tears (are) in my preparation. I’ve had injuries in the past from guys using performance-enhancing drugs.
This sport, there’s no place for that. We’re not trying to put balls in hoops. It’s a fight.
I’m very happy the athletic commission decided to bring in much harsher penalties.
If you’re taking performance-enhancing drugs and you get caught, in my mind, you should be banned for life.
