Den kontroversielle influencern Andrew Tate blev fullkomligt dominerad i en boxningsmatch mot Chase DeMoor. Trots det så har Tate rätt till ett returmöte men tiden är knapp för att boka in det.
Andrew Tate har rätt till ett returmöte mot Chase DeMoor
Tidigare så var Andrew Tate en framgångsrik kickboxare men har främst blivit känd som infleuncer. Detta för sina kontroversiella uttalanden om manlighet. Tate som numera är VD för Misfits Boxing gick under december en boxningsmatch för organisationen.
Detta i en titelmatch mot realityprofilen och tungviktsmästaren Chase DeMoor. Den senare kunde där dominera Tate och vinna genom enhälligt domslut. DeMoor har dock senare avslöjat att enligt kontraktet så har Tate trots att han blev dominerad rätt till ett returmöte.
Finns en tidsgräns
Under en intervju med Fred Talks Fighting så berättar DeMoor mer ingående om det potentiella returmötet. Tungviktsmästaren beskriver där att Tate får ett returmöte men måste boka in matchen senast den 20 februari. Dock så betonar DeMoor att det kommer bli på hans villkor denna gång. Detta trots att Tate är mer känd än honom.
“They do have the rematch clause which he has until February 20 to activate, otherwise they don’t. I’m obviously having conversations with Misfits, his team, my management and my team, he does have a rematch clause but I don’t think it specifically has the same terms as the first fight. So obviously I was severely nerfed in our first fight with the weight draining, being B-Side, travelling to Dubai etc. He can have the rematch but now you’re talking fighting at heavyweight, fighting on my terms, he is going to be the B-Side, it’s going to say ‘Chase DeMoor vs Andrew Tate’ this time. I think a lot of that, if you think about it in terms of how media goes and marketing, you have to look at it like ‘you couldn’t get the job done when I was nerfed, you think I’m going to get the job done when I’m not nerfed? They probably won’t be too happy because Andrew has obviously got much more fame than I do, he’s a very popular and polarizing figure. I think if you look at it for what it is he is now going to be the underdog and the pressure pendulum swings.”
Misfits Boxing är en organisation som mestadels anordnar boxningsmatcher med influencers. Men man har även haft tidigare UFC-fighters som Darren Till och Luke Rockhold.
