Under veckans avsnitt av MMAHour berättade den 33-årige UFC-veteranen Chris Leben att han inte längre kommer tävla för UFC, och att han förmodligen inte kommer gå någon MMA-match igen.
Well, at that time, I was talking about the fight. But, you know what? I think that’s pretty much it. As far as competing in the UFC, I may actually be done. It’s been a fantastic, wonderful ride. I’ve landed more strikes than anybody out there. Definitely had some ups and downs, but I’m starting to realize that for me, it may be time to make that transition over away from competing and get more on the coaches side of things.
If I’m not fighting in the UFC, I’m not fighting. I mean. bottom line, I’ve been with the UFC for now 10 years and I’ve really feel that I’ve grown with them. In this sport, you’re either moving forwards or moving backwards. And I just can’t imagine after having some many great fights with UFC stepping back to a smaller show or something like that it would be crazy. So yeah, I think I’m done.
