I lost to Jones in january by decision in a good fight, and in this one I got knocked out, I got finshed the first time in my career and more people feel im validated more as a champ now than I was then. Which is crazy because the result was so clear in july. You know I think it’s because you add in the performance enhancing drugs, it makes things look a little bit different, and I feel like thats why people are a little more respectful. I’ve done everything the right way.
I feel I stink everywehere I go, I really need a good bath to get the stink off of me – Cromier om Jones-matchen. Before beating Volkan Oezdemir, I feel as I do right now. That’s just me, im a competitor. I know I lost that fight, I cant erase that memory, you know I still have nightmares. I still dream about losing to Jon Jones twice. For people like me the losses don’t just go away.
