Daniel Cormier miste under helgen sitt bälte i lätt tungvikt till Jon Jones då han förlorade via TKO på UFC 214. Direkt efter knocken kunde man se Cormier stappla omkring i oktogonen tydligt förvirrad. Joe Rogan intervjuade Cormier trots sin regel om att inte intervjua fighters som precis blivit knockade och bad senare om ursäkt för detta.
Efter matchen bad Cormier om ursäkt till domaren ”Big” John McCarthy för att han tjafsat med honom, en ursäkt som inte verkade behövas. Såhär skriver McCarthy på sin Twitter:
