Dwayne ”The Rock” Johnson kan relatera till en av UFC:s orankade fighters, Themba Gorimbo, som han nu till och med vill hjälpa klara sig.

Denna helg valde Hollywood-stjärnan Dwayne ”The Rock” Johnson att promota UFC:s welterviktare Themba Gorimbo som nyligen bärgade sin första seger i oktagonen via enhälligt domslut mot Takashi Sato i maj.
Gorimbo sade följande vid UFC Vegas 73:s post-fight presskonferens efter segern:
I’ve been broke. I came to America seven weeks ago without money. I only had enough money to fly, get to the airport to the gym, stayed at the gym, and then a friend sent me $200.
It’s been a roller coaster. I didn’t have money, if you look at my bank account there’s $7 right now. In my bank account, there’s $7, and I have to enjoy this. I don’t know how much I’m getting paid. All I’ve been focused on for this fight was to get the win. The win was the most important thing, the money is the byproduct of getting the win.
Johnson reagerade på en bild delad på Twitter av ESPN som sammanfattade Gorimbos uttalande ovan. Skådespelaren sade sig då kunna relatera till fighterns situation då även Johnson endast hade 7 dollar på sig innan han blev en WWE-legend och blev en Hollywoodstjärna. Siffran är så pass förknippad med Johnsons historia att han döpte sitt företag Seven Bucks Productions.
I sitt svar till Gorimbo erbjöd sig Johnson att hjälpa fightern med pengar och avslutade med att han kommer höra av sig.
