When I started MMA, it was baptism through fire. I had never done anything that hard, or that uncomfortable. As a fighter, you have to work on your mind, just as hard as you work on your physical abilities. Fighting is math, I need to know every variable that makes up the equation.
In MMA the possibilities are endless. In between every move and every technique, there are several more techniques and an infinite number of combinations. For someone whois a bit obsessed with skill – you can’t get enough, I was hooked.
Just keep working. Keep moving forward. I know what I wanna do to my opponent. I wanna do damage. If I feel pain, I want to understand where it’s coming from, what led to that pain, then I want to control it, turn a negative to a positive.
