Anderson Silva:

Just saw the result of your fight. Anyway, for those who love you, nothing has changed. Ze, my brother, keep your head up and move on. To talk bad and trash, many people will come, but that’s how it is, you can’t please everyone. Everyone here at home is rooting for you to bounce back.

Pedro Rizzo:

Jose Aldo Junior got in the gym at 16, became world champion in jiu-jitsu, was 10 years undefeated, became world champion of the UFC, his MMA record is 25-2, made 10 title defenses.

There is no shame in defeat, warriors would rather lose with honor on the battlefield, real fighters would rather lose ”warring” we are like this, men of honor.

I always say to those who ask me what to do when they fight, say – ”Go up in the ring and give everything to be no regrets after, better fall in battle than to live thinking that could have done more.”

This sport is not for everyone, we live in victory the best day of our lives but we live in defeat also the worst day of our lives.

I remember Chico Xavier’s text that says ”everything goes”, this is the biggest true of life, the days of sorrow will pass, time will take care of putting everything in place and you will calm your heart and come back much stronger.

We’ll be there, I, Dede, the NU family and Rizzo RVT we all are waiting for you to restart again and beat the world again.

You are my greatest pride in the sport and do not forget then that ”everything goes”.

Fabricio Werdum:

Your story of success was already written and nothing will erase your legacy. You continue to be the people’s champion, who represents the strength and passion of the Brazilian people. We’re with you, brother.

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira:

Losing is part of the game, now focus on the rematch to bring this belt back to Brazil. Never quit.

Felipe Arantes:

A champion isn’t made of a moment, a champion is made of history. You will be back, Jose Aldo.

Amanda Nunes:

Thank you, Jose Aldo. I will never forget, 10 years as a great champion.

Bethe Correia:

I know what many don’t realize. I know the weight of the world’s biggest fight event and still have to handle day-to-day life’s problems! I know what’s adrenaline, calling responsibility and having to fight. Wasn’t this time, but you’re the true UFC king.

Giovani Decker (general manager för UFC i Brasilien):

Champions lose battles, yes. Go down, suffer, cry. But always get up, come back to fight, and win the war. That’s how champions are. Sport is a great parody of life.  Life is full of tough moments, hard ones, when we try to understand the whys without sometimes realizing we are not the only ones responsible for what happen around us. Aldo, we’re together in happiness and sadness. It’s a tough moment, to reflect, but I’m positive you will be back stronger to reclaim what is yours. We’re together, brother.
