Domaren Marc Goddard fick en del kritik för att han under flera tillfällen sa till de två att ställa sig upp istället för att brottas, medan Herb Dean tillät detta under mötet mellan Jon Jones och Anthony Smith.
På Twitter blev kommentatorn Jon Anik frågad om vad han tyckte om detta och Goddards bedömning, där han kritiserade inkonsekvenserna. Goddard uppmärksammades om detta svarade svarade med motkritik till Anik.

I always try to be respectful. We are just calling it like we see it, too. But there is an arrogance with which you deal with the fighters, commentators and many in this sport. And I find it offputting. One man’s take. And I’m quite sure you’ll give yours for everyone to hear.

Anik gick sedan ut med en ursäkt för kritiken och domaren Goddard gjorde detsamma.

Vad tycker ni om skillnaden i bedömningen mellan matcherna, hade Anik rätt som kritiserade det?
