Makwan Amirkhani lämnade nyligen Allstars, och kommer inom kort att ansluta sig till Conor McGregors gym ”SBG Ireland”. Under gårdagen medverkade Makwan vid ”The MMA Hour” där han pratade ut om hela händelsen, och här nedan kan ni läsa vad Amirkhani hade att säga:
I have nothing bad to say about Allstarts and the gym, but there was people.. that kind of stabbed me in the back. This is not the time to meet the threshold over one person, and if the person is at the gym all the time… So I decided it is better for me to leave everything and go back home.
The people who I care about in Sweden, they know what really happened. Most of the people who heard about the story, they said: ”That was the smartest thing that you could do, just leave, or you would have done something really bad to that person”. If we go back one year in my life, and you would have done the same thing to me, you would be in the (hospital).
I will be a nice guy, I dont want to put water on the sauna, I dont want to make a big deal out of this. But I swear to god if I hear one more bad thing I will ruin that persons life and everybody from the Allstars, that the gym won’t even exist anymore.
Like I said, this thing has to do with only a few persons and not with the gym. I love the people in the gym
Härnäst ser vi Makwan ta sig an Mike Wilkinson, då de möts vid ”UFC: London” den 27 februari. Inför mötet har Amirkhani en tre matcher lång vinstsvit, där de två senaste segrarna tillkommit via avslut.
