Nate Diaz återvänder efter nästan 3 års tid för att möta forne lättviktsmästaren Anthony Pettis under UFC 241. Senast Diaz gick match var mot Conor McGregor i returmötet 2016, där han förlorade via ett majoritetsbeslut.
Topprankade welterviktaren Colby Covington kommer troligtvis att gå titelmatch mot nyblivne mästaren Kamaru Usman härnäst.
Covington tror att matchen mellan Diaz och Pettis kan bli underhållande, men menar att de båda har sett sina bästa dagar och inte skulle klara sig mot de bästa i viktklassen.

I don’t think either one of them wants to come fight for a title at welterweight. These are guys that are at the top of the division that are in their prime right now are good everywhere. They can fight. They’re not just strikers, they’re not just wrestlers. They’re not just jiu jitsu guys. They can do it all.
