Den före detta mästaren i lätt tungvikt Jon Jones och Colby Covington har känt varandra sedan de gick i skolan. Covington har gjort sig känd för att säga vad han vill om vem eller vad han vill, vilket har gjort att andra fighters såväl som fans har gått till motattack vid flera tillfällen.
Covington uttalade sig under torsdagen om Jones där han påstod att UFC-fightern har använt sig utav steroider sedan skoltiden och fick så kallad ’roid rage’.
He just started doing steroids and always freaking had roid rage. He’d come home and he’d yell at me ‘oh what the f*ck are you doing colby, do the dishes’ and he would just like freak out. I would see this roid rage in his eyes and I would just be like ‘what’s your deal, man?’. Cause he was wrestling at 197 [pounds], he was a national champ in junior college and he was trying to move up and go to heavyweight. So he thought he had to do a cycle of roids and I just lost a lot of respect for him.
He started partying a lot. Doing ecstasy, doing all these drugs and the rest [is] history. He’s been doing them since college.
Jones svarade via Instagram och Twitter där han kallade Covington för lögnare och delade även med sig av en photoshoppad bild, där han står bakom Covington som diskar. Inläggen raderades sedan.
