Khabib Nurmagomedov (29-0) tror att Dustin Poirier (28-7) förlorat glöden efter förlusten mot Charles Oliviera (32-8) och inte kommer få tillbaka den.
Khabib om Dustin Poiriers: ”Kommer aldrig vara samma fighter igen”
Khabib Nurmagomedov tror att vi har fått se det bästa av Dustin Poirier och att han inte kommer vara den samma efter förlusten mot Charles Oliviera. Det var andra gången Poirier slogs om titeln i lättvikt och det var också andra gången han förlorade en titelmatch. Före matchen sa Poirier att han ville gå färre matcher och bedömt av hur han regerade efter förlusten på UFC 269 tror Khabib att Poirier är nära slutet på sin karriär, något den före detta lättvikts-mästaren uttryckte på en rysk presskonferens.

Tveksamt om Poirier får fler chanser på titeln
En sak man inte heller får glömma. Som skrivet är det andra chansen Poirier har fått på titeln och andra gången han misslyckas. Det är väldigt få fighters som får chansen en tredje gång och de flesta vet också om det. Bara att veta en sådan sak kan göra det svårt att motivera sig för nya matcher och då kanske pension är ett bättre val?
