Den forne UFC-mästaren Conor McGregor är klar för en ny match i organisationen. Det meddelade irländaren under dagens presskonferens i Moskva, Ryssland.
McGregor berättade för publiken på plats att han är klar för en match den 18:e januari 2020 på T-Mobile Arena i Las Vegas, Nevada. Vem motståndaren är ville McGregor inte meddela utan det överlät han till UFC.
I would like to announce the return of ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor will take place on January 18th in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. So, that is my comeback fight, it’s 12 weeks this Saturday. I’m in prime physical condition, I’ve agreed the date with the company.
As far as the opponent, I have the opponent’s name, but for me and the game that I’m in, and from experience, if I was to give you people the name – which I would love to do – I know the UFC would flip it because they are a crafty company. UFC har ännu inte gått ut med schemat för det kommande året, men med största sannolikhet kommer matchen att gå på UFC 246.
McGregor gick sin senaste match i oktober 2018 där han tog sig an den regerande lättviktsmästaren Khabib Nurmagomedov på UFC 229. Irländaren förlorade matchen i den fjärde ronden via rear-naked-choke.
