Tonight’s No Contest in the #UFCMexico main event left @panteraufc questioning the severity of the eye injury. Here’s @LiLHeathenMMA’s response from the hospital moments ago: pic.twitter.com/tLMNvnQgFL

Yair you think I’m faking bro? You’re the one who poked me in the eye. Let’s run it back in four or five weeks, two weeks, whatever. I’ll be ready. Just a deep scratch, a deep bruise You’re the one who poked me. Let’s run it back motherf*cker. Let’s go.

WTH just happened. His eye wouldn’t open or he wouldn’t open it. I can’t even believe that lmao

This is sucks 🙄 #UFCMexico

If you guys think for even one second that @LiLHeathenMMA wasn’t legit hurt then you’re crazy. A swipe like that means that Yair likely accidentally tore Jeremy’s cornea. It doesn’t happen from pokes or happens from a swiping motion. Ask @TheJamesKrause how that feels #UFCMexico

That is so incredibly unfortunate. No fault for the eye poke and it looked like it grazed straight down. I hope they can rebook this fight ASAP. The Mexican crowd can’t blame anyone here, it’s just unfortunate

Ppl saying Stephens wanted out of the fight?? He is one of the toughest and most dangerous guy in that division. I highly doubt he faked how severe that eye-poke affected him. I felt Yair would our point him with kicks, but tn we won’t get to find out…Sucks. #UFCMexico
